In line with their branding strategy, Entrepreneur’s Tax Guide, announced a major rebrand which will see the firm focusing on educating, engaging and establishing businesses through providing tax information.
Nono Nyathi, managing consultant and author at Entrepreneur’s Tax Guide, said, “Entrepreneurs and a myriad of taxpayers with established businesses have been facing a remarkable challenge in tax compliance which is highly attributable to limited access to simplified tax information. The complexity of tax laws presents challenges in interpreting and applying the tax laws which results in high levels of non-compliance. In 2016, we embarked on a project to simplify tax information for the layman, enabling him to read and understand what is required of him as a taxpayer. This was the birth of the Entrepreneur’s Tax Guide, an idea which strives to solve the issue of inadequate taxpayer education in Zimbabwe.”
The main aim of the firm is to educate taxpayers in Zimbabwe on tax processes, laws and regulations to ensure that they are abreast with the tax requirements of their business. The firm strives to engage the taxpayer through simplified publications without worrying too much about the technical jargon yet delivering useful information.
Nono Nyathi envisages that knowledge of tax laws will result in the right application of the tax laws which includes taking advantage of tax concessions, tax breaks, tax credits etc., while positively impacting the business. Consequently, this will likely lead to businesses focusing on establishing a footprint in the industry and contribute to the growth of the Zimbabwean economy. Adequate tax planning helps businesses minimise their tax liability and increase retained profits, which promote business growth.
The rebranding includes a redesign of the company’s website, logo, graphics, communications and correspondence. Entrepreneur’s Tax Guide’s new brand assets include a simplified, blue-and-red logo with a variation of colour on the red triangle for different publications, along with a new website and other visual communications that utilize simple, bold graphics to convey complex tax solutions in an understandable way.
