As promised, I’m going to share a little bit about me so that you know the person behind the stories I tell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your full name?<\/strong> Nonhlanhla Nyathi<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your nickname?<\/strong> Nono \/ Noni \/ Miss Enn \/ Nhlanhlo \/ Nonhlie<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What does your name mean?<\/strong> Queen \/ Mother of luck though google also says it means “Gift of God”.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to?<\/strong> It’s perfect, but maybe Grace translated to any Nguni language.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Where did you grow up?<\/strong> In Gweru, the city of progress.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who did you look up to growing up?<\/strong> My parents, I learnt a lot of life’s principles from them. For example, being on time and choosing quality over quantity regardless of the circumstances.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are your favorite things about yourself?<\/strong> I love being me. If I don’t fit into a certain environment, I acknowledge it’s not for me and I move out. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your biggest accomplishment?<\/strong> Publishing tax guides. It takes a lot of confidence because it comes with a lot of criticism especially when writing on technical topics. But I did it anyway. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your biggest regret?<\/strong> Obviously, I could have made better choices at some junctions in my life. I don’t regret them because I learnt from the consequences of those choices and I’m wiser.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What inspires you?<\/strong> Knowing that I am the only person who has my characteristics and DNA and that there’s a unique purpose for my life.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is the most important thing in your life?<\/strong> A personal relationship with God and family. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has required the most courage of you in your life so far?<\/strong> Healing from traumatic experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite childhood memory?<\/strong> Playing cricket in the street and exploring the rivers and bridges in our neighborhood. We were little explorers and we would get into the river from one bridge and walk to the other bridge. Don’t worry, we could all swim. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite cultural activity?<\/strong> I have no idea, I need to explore this one.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite quote? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you don’t have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?<\/span><\/p>John Wooden<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite time of the day?<\/strong> Early morning, because I am most productive in the wee hours on the morning. PS: I love breakfast.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is your favorite way to pass time?<\/strong> Playing Scrabble and during lockdown I joined the online live games. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you scared of heights?<\/strong> Not really, I get jitters but I can go high! <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you high maintenance?<\/strong> It depends on perspective but I’m a quality over quantity person. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you more inclined to \u201cbuild your own empire\u201d or unleash the potential of others?<\/strong> Unleash the potential of others while building my own empire. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you more likely to avoid conflict or engage it head-on?<\/strong> I will engage it head-on but at the right time. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you a dog person or cat person?<\/strong> Dog<\/span>

Are you an early adopter or late-adopter?<\/strong> Early adopter <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you had more courage what would you do differently in your life now?<\/strong> I would date more. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you could eliminate one weakness or limitation in your life, what would it be?<\/strong> I was conditioned to look at weaknesses as areas of improvement so I wouldn’t eliminate it as such but I would grow at it. For example, I used to be the worst negotiator but I have been honing my negotiation skills. Though I am not yet there, I have improved immensely. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What aspect of your life needs tremendous improvement?<\/strong> My health, I could really eat better and gain some weight but I still skip meals. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is the first person you call when something exciting happens?<\/strong> Bae<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is the first person you call when something horrible happens?<\/strong> Bae<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you prefer that people shoot straight with you or temper their words? Why?<\/strong> Straight shooters because I believe in open and honest conversations and I don’t like people who waste my time.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a catchphrase?<\/strong> It is what it is!<\/span>

Do you have a tattoo?<\/strong> Not yet, but I’m getting one soon. Just working on getting around my skin irritations.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
